Olive Plants Co-op is a home education extension program located in Lagrange, Georgia. We provide core and extra-curricular classes for homeschooled students in grades K5 through 12th. We serve the Troup-Harris-Meriwether area of West Georgia and East Alabama.
We meet weekly with most classes on Mondays at Rosemont Baptist Church in LaGrange, Georgia. Our tutors hold degrees in their content areas or related fields and have classroom teaching experience.
Our curriculum is college preparatory, Christ-centered, and classically eclectic. It includes quality programs from trusted homeschool publishers like All About Learning, First Language Lessons, IEW, Saxon Math, Apologia, Answers in Genesis, Summit Ministries, and more.
Membership in the co-op is required to register for classes. We are a Christian group and require a signed statement of faith, an interview, three references for membership, and a $50 nonrefundable new member fee. A yearly membership fee of $115 per family must be paid at registration. ($165 for late registration)
Upon acceptance into the group, you may choose to register your child(ren) for a plethora of engaging classes. We work on an “à la carte” system so you may choose the courses that best fit your family’s needs.
